Division of treasury of Suratthani Rajabhat University, an internal department of president office, has been established due to Teacher Collage Act of 1975. It has been divided into 11 sub-divisions; secretary, administration, finance, personnel, public relations, procurement, vehicle, welfare, health and sanitation, premises and document printing. In 1995, act of Suratthani Rajabhat Institution (draft) had been approved by the government and announced in the government gazette, edict issue, volume 112, part 4A of January 24, 1995. This result led Surat Thani Teacher Collage to be changed to Suratthani Rajabhat Institution and the government division in institution had been reformed, especially the department of president office had been renamed and there was a director of president office as an administrator. Moreover, it also has 2 sub-divisions which are legal and security sub-divisions. Thus, the financial department is under the management of president office. In 2004, Suratthani Rajabhat Institution has been upgraded to be Suratthani Rajabhat University. For this reason, the financial department has been changed to be the division of treasury until now and has responsibilities to support and facilitate the management of SRU to truly achieve the goals as the university for locality.
